Dr. Patel is available for consult (in-person OR phone) or procedure M-F 8AM to 7PM and some Saturdays and Sundays. These visits are by appointment.
About Dr. PATEL
Dr. Patel is a family medicine board certified doctor with 3 years of no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomy experience. He attended medical school at UCLA where he developed an interest in the outpatient vasectomy procedure. Vasectomies are a highly effective method of birth control that enable men to be socially responsible partners. From UCLA he moved to Sacramento and completed residency in Family and Community Medicine at UC Davis. While there he continued to train in vasectomy. Since then he has also performed vasectomies with Dr. Doug Stein of Tampa, Florida. Dr. Stein does hands on training for physicians and has performed more than 40,000 vasectomies. Dr. Patel feels strongly about the benefits of vasectomy and has worked with No Scalpel Vasectomy International (NSVI) in the Philippines. (See pictures below).
